A tragic incident occurred on May 10, 2024, when a high-speed pursuit involving a Ram TRX resulted in a fatal crash on Bolton Road.
The pursuit began when officers from the state patrol tried to stop a blacked-out Ram TRX that had been speeding down the road. The driver, Keiwon Tucker from Atlanta, Georgia, chose to evade capture, accelerating rapidly as he made his way southbound on Bolton Road.
As the vehicle raced through the area at a dangerously high speed, the driver lost control while attempting to navigate a leftward curve. The truck veered off the roadway and collided with a mailbox located on the west side of Bolton Road.
Despite this initial impact, the truck continued to travel across both lanes of the road, causing further damage. The pursuit escalated as the truck crossed into the opposite lane of traffic before once again running off the road, this time crashing into a tree on the east side of the road.
The impact of the collision with the tree caused the vehicle to rotate counterclockwise, flipping the truck bed off the vehicle entirely. The detached bed hit another mailbox before the truck finally came to a stop.
Tragically, Keiwon Tucker was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. The police are investigating the details surrounding the pursuit and the exact events leading up to the fatal crash.
