The parents of Joules Smith, a six-year-old girl from Minster, Sheppey, have paid an emotional tribute to their daughter following her peaceful death early on Monday morning. In May, the Smith family was told that Joules had been diagnosed with midline glioma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. The doctors delivered the heart-wrenching news that Joules had only a few months left to live. Despite this prognosis, her parents devoted their time to making the most of the precious moments they had left. They took Joules on trips, creating special memories and experiences that would last a lifetime.
In addition to their personal efforts, Joe and Elisha used social media as a platform to raise awareness about their daughter's illness.
