Bill Hogan, of Mansfield, Connecticut, passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2024. Originally from Derby, CT, Bill spent his early years in Shelton before establishing roots in Mansfield, where he lived with his wife, Linda Hogan.
Bill enjoyed a fulfilling career spanning decades. He first worked at New England Engineering Co., Inc. in Derby before dedicating 36 years to Center Sports in Columbia, CT, where he served as the Archery Manager and Technician. Known for his exceptional skills and passion for his craft, Bill’s dedication left a lasting impact on colleagues and clients alike.
Outside of his professional achievements, Bill had a rich life filled with hobbies and interests. He was passionate about astronomy, archery, vintage cars, and physical fitness, which he pursued with a sense of enthusiasm and dedication.
Bill’s love for his family was the cornerstone of his life. He is survived by his wife, Linda, his two children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. His parents, Emilinda and John Hogan, and his brother, John Hogan, predeceased him.
Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bill’s life on December 16, 2024, at the Coventry-Pietras Funeral Home. The family encourages donations to the American Cancer Society in his memory.
