The life of Benjamin J. "Ben" Berendsen, a man of diverse talents and passions, came to a tragic end on December 4, 2024. Ben was known for his love of sports, his artistic endeavors, and his commitment to his community.
An avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, Ben’s passion for baseball was matched only by his love for the Packers. He also enjoyed golfing and found solace in the creativity of DIY projects.

A talented self-taught guitarist, Ben wrote and performed his own music, sharing his unique voice with those around him. Ben’s intelligence and creativity were evident in every aspect of his life.
Whether building something from scratch or finding innovative solutions to everyday challenges, he approached life with an endless supply of ideas. His quick wit and humor brought joy to all who crossed his path.
Ben’s family invites friends and loved ones to celebrate his life at Marnocha Funeral Home on December 11, 2024, and at the Village Grille on December 14, 2024. To honor his memory, attendees are encouraged to wear St. Louis Cardinals attire or red, his favorite color.
Ben’s legacy of laughter, love, and creativity will live on through his family and friends.
